What a promo code does
A promo code, also called a coupon code or voucher code, is a short combination of letters and numbers that unlocks a discount at checkout. It might take a flat amount off, give a percentage off up to a limit, add free delivery, or apply a small gift. Every code comes with conditions, and almost every problem people have with codes comes from missing one of them.
Step-by-step: applying a code
- Add the product to your cart and open the cart or checkout page.
- Look for a box labelled 'Apply coupon', 'Promo code', 'Gift card or voucher' or similar. On some apps it is under 'Offers' or 'Savings'.
- Type the code exactly as shown, including capital letters. Copying and pasting avoids mistakes with the letter O and the number 0.
- Press apply and check that the order total actually dropped before you pay.
- If the site shows a list of available offers, tap the one you want. Some offers apply automatically and need no typing.
Why a code says 'invalid' or 'not applicable'
- Minimum order value. Many codes only work above a cart total.
- Category or brand limits. A code for fashion will not work on electronics, and some brands are excluded.
- Payment method. Bank card codes work only with that bank's cards or UPI apps. Read the exact payment terms.
- First-order only. Some codes apply only to new customers or the app's first purchase.
- Expired or fully used. Codes often have a total usage cap, so they can end earlier than the stated date.
- One code per order. Most stores let you use only one code, though a code can sometimes be combined with an automatic discount.
Stacking offers the right way
The best savings usually come from layering different kinds of offers, not from one code. A typical stack is the sale price, plus a store coupon, plus a card or wallet offer at payment. Check each layer's terms. If a coupon says it cannot be combined with other offers, the store will usually apply whichever gives the larger saving.
Staying safe with codes
- Take codes from the store itself, official brand pages or channels you trust. Never download an app or share your card details to receive a code.
- No genuine code needs your OTP, PIN or CVV.
- Do not install browser extensions that you do not recognise just to find coupons, because some collect your browsing data.
- Be careful with codes that promise something unrealistic such as everything free. They are usually a way to collect your details.
What we do on this site
We only list a code on our promo codes page after testing it, and we remove it when it stops working. If there is no tested code today, we say so instead of filling the page. Codes that appear first on our Telegram channel are the freshest.
Quick checklist before you pay
Make sure the code was applied, the total changed, delivery fees did not rise, and the payment method matches the offer. Take a screenshot of the discounted checkout page. If a discount fails after payment, that screenshot helps customer support.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use two promo codes on the same order?
Usually not. Most stores allow one coupon per order. You can often combine one coupon with an automatic sale price or a card offer.
Why did my code stop working at the last step?
The cart may have fallen below the minimum value, an item may have been excluded, or you may have chosen a payment method that the offer does not cover.
Are promo code websites safe?
Using a code is safe. What is unsafe is sharing personal data, OTPs or card details. Use trusted sources and never pay anyone to receive a code.
